Besides their specializations, the clinic also has an exclusive service contract for spinal surgery in the canton of Zug.

Job Description

On behalf of this hospital we are looking for an internist, for a fulltime position. The working hours will vary because you will work by arrangement. The minimal appointment is for one year.

The right candidate will work in the heart of our clinic, in their interdisciplinary emergency centre. This emergency centre is the clinic’s growth engine and is being expanded. Tasks at the centre will involve consultative assessment, in-patient care and case management of internal management. Besides working in the emergency centre, you will work in their general internal medicine department. There you will triage, asses and treat patients. As the internist you will provide internal care for inpatients and provide consultant care in the interior medicine in inpatient surgical patients. In order to provide the best care it’s necessary to work closely with attending physicians from all specialities. Because the hospital wants to improve their treatment plans, collaboration in the creation of treatment concepts is required.

In order to apply on this vacancy it’s necessary to be a federal specialist or recognized equivalent specialist. Experience in general medicine as well as care of emergency patients is important. Earlier experience as haematologist is preferred but not necessary. They require high level of commitment, willingness to work and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation. Because you will treat a lot of different patients and will partially recruit your own patients, organization skill and social skills are necessary.
