Nephrologist – Zurich – Switzerland
Zürich is the largest city of Switzerland and the capital of the Canton of Zürich. The city has around 390,000 inhabitants and is an important economic centre for the country. This also provides an excellent infrastructure with a well-organised international train station and an airport. Zürich is situated in the north of the country, close to the Alps and therefore has a clear sky, which offers great visibility of the mountains from the city.
The city hospital offers a great variety of specialised care and is among the top 10 Swiss hospitals. It has multiple locations, mostly located in a beautiful area of the city near a lake and mountains, which creates a great place to work for the 4000 employees. Annually, care is provided to more than 35 000 inpatients and 220 000 outpatients.
On behalf of the above-mentioned hospital, we are looking for a nephrologist for a fulltime position.
Nephrologists who are about to finish their residency are also invited to apply.
You will take care of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients independently and together with residents. In the outpatient clinic, you will endeavour to optimally look after a broad variety of nephrological patients as well as patients who are referred to the department of general internal medicine. Besides the hospital, you will work at two affiliated dialysis centers.
The current team is looking for a team-oriented nephrologist with strong communicational skills. A high level of professional commitment with interest in continuing education is desired. You should enjoy the long-term care of complex patients and stay flexible and open within a changing healthcare system.
The collegial and motivated team offers a pleasant working environment.
Attractive employment conditions are offered with excellent social benefits. Good command of the German and English language is required to register and practice in Switzerland. Although C1 command is preferred in your clinical role, a B2- German level suffices for registration. MMedical can help you select the right language training centre and will help you with the federal and cantonal professional registration.
